Sunday, 9:00-10:00A.M: for ages 10-13:  
Reading and Understanding: Reading of the
first aliyah of the coming weeks' perasha and
close reading for understanding of the
contents.

Sunday, 10:00-10:40A.M:  for ages 6-9:
Shir Hashirim: Accurate reading and
chanting of Shir HaShirim with te'amim.

Sunday, 7:30 P.M: for adults:
Understanding Our Tefila: A class for adults
interested in studying sections of the daily
prayers. Focus will be on the text itself and
the various nuances the words can have and
the bottom line of how differing translations
lead to differing emphases and messages.

Monday, 7:30-8:30 P.M:  for adults.
Hebrew Texts by our Great Sages  (at home
of Steven and Ruthie Younker). Class based
on Hebrew texts of intrinsic interest but
chosen especially for the striking Hebrew
style of the authors. Text will includes
essays by R. Joseph B. Solveitchik (on
Community and others) Professor Avraham
Ya'ari,R. Y.L. Fishman/Maimon and various
post-expulsion Sephardic Rabbis.

Tuesday, Noon:  Ladino Class, At Seattle
Curtain.  All are invited to join us every
Tuesday at noon for our weekly Ladino class
led by Hazzan Aryeh Greenberg at Seattle
Curtain Factory.  A complimentary lunch is
sponsored by the Capeluto family.  

Friday 8:00-10:00PM:. Weekly Perasha for
High School  Men: (Dec. 9th  meeting at
Ezra Bessaroth ,in coming weeks at homes to
be announced)  The format stresses group
learning and debate centering around a
"chunk" of the weeks perasha as interpreted
by 6-8 of the classic commentators and our
own analysis of the strengths and
weaknesses of the various possible
approaches to the selection under scrutiny.
